I was playing EV one night and something hit me. Who are our pilots? Where were they born? What made what they are? Well you get the point. I put up this post to see if any one will be willing to share their thoughts.

I think I was the son of a spaceport operator on Rupert and gained a shuttle after the owner left under suspicious circumstances, leaving it behind.
I was a problem child that killed and ate my parents at the age of 11. Then I ran off to a small village on Levo were such behavior was accepted. Then I got a job on an Ore Freigter and scrapped together enough money for a Shuttlecraft.

My pilot was the son of a Rebel admiral and great friend to Vice Admiral Fugisaki, who lent my pilot some money which I used to get a shuttlecraft.

I grew up on Landfall. I performed well in school but lacked discipline. Instead of entering the Confed Naval Academy, I became a spaceport dockworker (driving one of those cool exoskeleton/forklifts that Sigourney Weaver operated in 'Aliens'). I was befriended by a Starbound Shipping pilot, who arranged for me to join his crew. Eventually, I became a Starbound pilot myself. Pretty good one, too.

I was born in Blackthorne on a Mercenary Kestrel during a pirate killing mission, so I lived most of my childhood in that Kestrel, then I bought my shuttlecraft and here I am, some years later in this Rebel Cruiser

I grew up on Levo, and my father was A Manta Pilot in the Rebellion. But one day he was destroyed and my mother married another guy and abandoned me. So I got pissed off at the Confederation and one day when a Confed Merchant landed his shuttle on Levo, I stole it and ran off!

Jude Victor is an artistic 
type (from Mars, except in the EVO universe, where she is from somewhere else) who liked studying other cultures and languages, and was curious about what the rest of the universe was like, so she bartered for a shuttle and took up trading to support herself while she explored. She firmly believes that the EV & EVO universes are alternate realities, and therefore sees no problem with existing in both.
