      I am having trouble building a plug-in and i need to know what kind

      of programs and tools that are required to create a professional plug

      any kind of help will be great

      First, the best program to use is ResEdit, which I'm pretty sure you can get from www. apple.com . A few other tools are needed:
      •Knowledge on how to use ResEdit
      •The EV Bible (I believe it is available from the EV Addons page)
      •The EV Plug-In Package, also available from the Addons page (I think)
      •Graphics, which you can download from lots of people. If you want lots of 'em, start a topic on the EV Developer's Corner, where you should probably post this anyway.
      •A hell of a lot of time, effort, attention, and dedication. If you want to make a big plug, it is a LOT of work, with time ranging from months to maybe a couple years.

      P.S. Hey you're from Oakland too! Where in Oakland?
