    • Frozen Heart & Clavius and Beyond 3.32

      I have three questions.

The first is: where do you find the frozen heart plugin? I've looked all over the ev plugins page, searched by name, date, rating, and dowloads. I cannot find it.

The second is basically the same thing, except I've downloaded Clavius & Beyond 3.32 before, and now my copy is screwed up. The neutron turret makes a forklift sound. Now I can't find this version anymore, only 3.2. I've noticed that some of the graphics are different, and there are new sounds for 3.32. I cannot find this either. I've searched in the same way that I searched for Frozen Heart.

The third is something in EV-Edit 2.3: the sounds from 217 or 218 through 222 seem to be silence. Is this true?

    • Frozen Heart is actually an EVO plugin that you can use for EV through a special application. Get it off of the EVO add-ons page. I don't know about the other two but as for Ev-Edit, it is extremely buggy, It is possible that this is the reason it isn't working correctly but it may not be. I recommend looking into plugs with resedit. This is the best tool available for plugs.

    • With EV-Edit, I'm not looking for plugs, I'm just wondering what the sounds are.

    • And that's what I mean to take a peek at anything you would look at with EV-Edit, res-edit should work better.

Anon answered your first question; let me try the other two.

Two: You can download Clavius & Beyond v.3.33 (yes, that's .33) from (url="http://"http://www.ixoft.com/dyna.html")http://www.ixoft.com/dyna.html(/url) . That where all the old DYNA Systems stuff is hosted these days. Better hurry; who knows how long it'll be there. As to the neutron turret making forklift sounds: if using a new version of Clavius doesn't solve it, and increasing the memory allocation to EV doesn't work , I'd suggest using a new pilot file.

Three: The reason why you don't hear sounds #217 through 222 is that they don't exist...yet! If you peek into the EV Sounds file using ResEdit, as Anon suggested, you'll see that there's nothing between #216 (the Fusion Beam) and #223 (the Forklift Engine). Those resources have not been created; the spaces for them are left for you to fill in if you have some snazzy sound of your own to insert into the EV Sounds file. Don't ask me how you do that; someone else here can help, I'm sure.
