Way back when I use to get my shareware games from FTP sites using Anarchie, I recall downloading a game rather similar to the original EV. There were some differences, for one, the game was not overhead, but first-person, and the graphics were all wireframe. The main sticking point that I have that this was an early version of EV was that tell-tale map. It looked almost exactly like EV's map, and, I believe, the point of the game was similar. If anyone can fill me in on the true story, I would be much obliged, it is something that has been sticking in my mind for around 5 years.
