PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE ALIENS NICE AND INNOCENT!!! PLEASE!! IF I SEE ANY MORE CRAP THAT TALKS ABOUT HOW NICE THE ALIENS ARE AND THAT THE HUMANS ATTACKED FIRST I WILL PUKE!!

Sorry about getting all mad like that - it's just how I feel and your plugin will suck if the aliens are nice. Make them evil. Very evil.

I aggree. If the player chooses tp be alien, make it something like "we are preparing a crusade against these unenlightened mananimals..." or something like that.

Actually, I wouldn't put much more than cruisers or fighters in. Aren't they enough to lay waste to the Confeds? Also, set the technology back a bit. Proton turrets can come in with the Cruiser. Mantas are the main line of defense, (maybe you could make them blue instead of red or something) there are probably no lightnings, rapiers, the Argosy is a prototype, no defenders. Put in more old-fashioned ships to replace these.

Okay, here's how it is.

The aliens are warlike (compare them to the ancient Assiryians.) They are careless and in a few centuries have polluted and strip-mined their worlds into vast wastelands. Because of their bad environmental habits, their planets can no longer support them, and they want to conquer the humans, kill them, and live on their planets. There are a small group of aliens (comparable to human pirates) that belive that the answer is not mindless conquest, but cleaning up the mess the aliens have made of thier planets. The main alien government considers these ideas dangerous and wants theses aliens destroyed

In the Confed World, the Crusier, patrol craft, proton turret, and Rapier have just been intoduced. No lightening, no Argosy, no Kestrel, no Bulk Freighter, no Gunoboat, etc.

There IS a mission were you get to help a fledgling company develop a new warship called the Kestrel, but that's near the end...

Here's an idea: the pilot could be part of the mission that brings the Cruiser into action! you could set a misn bit for various cruisers to be deployed and a mission to deploy them (starts with metal delivery, message to admiral, taking the cruiser on a test drive etc.)

Few things, Voinians enslave races they conquer. The Aliens just kill them and take their planets. Not that they have ever conquered any other race. They havn't. They have s histroy of infighting. This works against them in the human string. Also, while they sound alike, except for having a similar warlike nature, they have completely different cultures. You'll find out when the damm thing's released.
