      Is it permitted to use an FTP client to upload add-on files instead of the Ambrosia upload feature? If so, what's the directory, password, and such?

      You should probably ask David Dunham on the "help is on the way" board (or at help@ambrosiasw.com) about that. If you find out, post it on the EV and EVO boards (and maybe on the "help is on the way" board, too.)
