    • Orthographic Universe Progress Log

Now that I'm done with my (url="http://"http://www.leapfrogsw.com")MacBrickout(/url) level set, I can now start up my Ferazel's Wand world once again.

5/31 Came up with a cool idea for a level called "hurricane" It is a very dark level with a river, wind, and rain.

Go to my (url="http://"http://www.light.aftran.com")website(/url) to get Orthographic Universe 0.2. It fixes the annoying bug in level 1.

      ------------------
Chack out my website:(url="http://"http://wwwlight.aftran.com")light.aftran.com(/url) for Ferazel levels, status on my Ares plgin, and more.

    • NOTE: This is an incomplete progress log. I have left out story and characters and quests because it would give too much away about the story.
      ----------------
      Progress Log
      7.13.01
      Current Version 0.2
      Completed:
      • Level One, Dangerous times
(Bug that wouldn't allow you to go to the beginning is now fixed in 0.2)
      • Level Two, Fire in the Caverns
      • Level Three, Mass Grave
      • Level Four, Escape from Nightmares
(You get a Mist Potion here, which is needed to enter a later level.)
*The stupid boss level has been deleted, replaced with "A Quest"

      To Do:
      Part I
      "Another Zichra?"

•Create level four, "A Quest" (Name might Change)
      • Create Level five, "The Dark Side" A level in almost total darkness
*Create Level six, "Hurricane." A river level with rain. Very dark.
      *Create level seven, "Habinabit Prison."
•Create level eight, "Cyclops Lair." LOTS of cyclopses, guarding an artifact...
•Create level nine, "Graveyard." Get another artifact here.
•Create level ten--thirteen, all unnamed. Get the remaining artifacts in these levels.
•Create level fourteen, "Volcano" enter the volcano here
•Create levels fifteen--seventeen, "Inside the volcano."
•Create levels eighteen and nineteen, 2 boss levels

      Part II
      "Into the Orthographic Universe"
The rest of the levels. Don't know much yet, but I would like a new tileset for these levels, but it isn't nessicary.
These levels are going to be niticeably harder than Part I.

One Question: Is it possible to alter the picture of ferazel and the dying guy in the beginning? I don't want to delete it, just add some text to it.

I too, have a similar level called, Creepth Upon the Earth, I hope we won't encounter any copy-right issues. 😉

OBW will be done before Ferazel 2, that I'm sure of.

Now onto the readme, then back to "A Habinabit in Need."

I can't get that image to work :frown:

Here's another one: In heaven the Source code to MASCOT is released.

There's only so much variation you can have within these FW levels. Now if we could just make bosses....

Hey, if you're in love with someone, then you have every right to completely screw up their life.--cynical me!

    • Nice pic cat!

Keep in mind that that image was based from the original game...you might want to give the creator (who, I dunno 🙂 ) credit in 4-point font crammed in a corner a minute shade away from the BG color where no one will see it.

PS...can I ask to please edit out repeat displays of that pic? Excellent as it is, it is a SpaceWaster™ when posted multiple times. I won't do anything if you do or don't, but...

Greetings - I am your friendly neighborhood moderator. Over the coming years I shall force-feed you my biased one-sided liberal tripe that I find truthful based upon my own faulty and fragmented logic; excessive smileys 🙂 🙂 🙂 and bizarre TexT! formatting also help clarify my inane points. Welcome to the boards!

    • A thank you section could get pretty cramped....he'd have to mention Ambrosia software, Ben Spees, Bungie software, whatever he used to make that picture, and me of course..

..ok I was just kidding about me.

I DO have to thank you--you're the one who gave me the idea.
I used GraphicConverter. It was really easy. The PIC is from the Demo version of Ferazel's Wand--it appears when you quit. I just got rid of the old text in the middle, added the title and my name, and Ferazel's eyes.

OT- I've got an excellent shareware program from Green Mountain Software called "Engineering Assistant". It has all sorts of neat stuff that I use all the time to convert from US measurements into metric or vice versa. I use it in my work, but it is good for students too. Gotta support those people making programs for Mac OS!
