Hi, I took a mission to destroy a computer system. I used all the usual bypasses, then console commands to destroy both the usr and sys files, then came out and went into admin and destroyed traces of my log in, then disconnected and went to InterNIC to erase my log files there too...yet I still got caught. I am using the highest levels of all equipment, including log_deleter 4.0 so I don't understand what I did wrong.
Any help out there?

It sounds like you are covering your bases quite well! Only thing that I can think of is to forget about deleting your admin logs at the system you are crashing. By the time you get there, the passive trace is well beyond those logs and is already working through your bounces. Most passive traces are not generally that fast - except for the banks, they're extremely quick - but if you don't delete your logs at interNIC fast enough, they'll find you there. Maybe you could use more bounces so that the passive trace doesn't catch up with you too soon.

One other thing,... Are you sure that it was the company with the system you crashed that caught you. It may have been someone else completely???

that's a good question. Since it only says "A large corporation..." I can't tell. But I'm usually just as careful with every hack. And I usually delete the InterNIC logs as quickly as I can. So still a bit puzzled...

When you go to the terminated agent screen, it should tell you what you got caught doing.
