um...slight problem, i have just upgraded my gateway from, the first one toi the best one you can get in the unregistered version... and I waited for them to construct the new onme etc. then i got the email saying theyll be done in about an hour I waited much longer than that exited and then reconnected to my new gateway. when i checked the GATEWAY menu, it still showed the hardware from my last computer, but when i pressed veiw gateway it showed the circuitry of my new computer ! whats going on??

Are you sure you purchased a gateway or a processor?

well yes actually i am sure. it gavre me both emails saying stuff about replacing my computer, and that littlew text after you press the upgrade button and after i reconnected it said welcome to your new gateway, or something to that effect... yeah i'm freakin sure!

When you upgrade to a new gateway, you keep everything you had before. For example, if you had a 120 Ghz processor with 96 Gq of memory and upgrade to a new gateway, then your new machine will be equipped with the 120Ghz processor and 96Gq of memory.
You keep the same hardware until you buy something else or destroy your gateway.

Solaris: It's not a bug.

Just because something says it holds 8 CPU's(example) doesn't mean they come with it. If it did, what would be the point of buying hardware upgrades?
