I actually wrote this a day or two ago as a joke on my family; I'd stick a readme that says "Don't Run Me" with it in the Applications folder, then laugh when they're stupid enough to run it. But then I realized how similar to Revelation it is (at least the graphics; there's no virus code here), hence why I'm posting it. The text on the windows reflects the joke purpose, not the Revelation one. That could easily be changed, though. (Programmers: just edit the view in the nib file.)

To get out (without brute-forcing it), just hold the option key when you close a window. None of the other normal methods work (namely, Command-Q).

Source can be provided if anyone wants it (yeah, right). And I'm aware that only one window can have the text on it at a time.

I think I'm gonna go ahead and reconnect Quit to terminate before running it... (You shoulda subclassed NSApplication to do it "right", ya know ;)).

I'd be interested in seeing the source, although it looks pretty simple.

What is it? It wont run, I have MacOS 9.1 though, is it an OSX Program? It opens up in Disk Copy which says t doesn't have a recognized file type

Hm. That wouldn't be much harder than a bunch of ((revelationStringArray objectAtIndex:i) drawAtPoint:randomPoint withAttributes:attributes); but the hard part would be making sure randomPoint was within screen bounds. And learning how the attributes dict is structured. (Sorry, programming rant.)

Source is very simple. Similar to FunkyOverlayWindow but with CoreGraphics calls. Do you want me to email it to you?

And I got the image from the internet and didn't have a copy of GraphicConverter easily available to convert it.

NSView doesn't respond to -copy; already tried that. Nor does NSTextField (tried that too).
