      Where can I find a step by step Guide to making plugins?

      But... isn't there a tutorial furnished with the game ? Or is it only a game tutorial ? Hm... I don't remember... you should try'n see...

      Actually, there is a tutorial in the folder named "Docs" inside the Coldstone folder. I'll assume that the plugin is for PoG because there aren't too many other CS games out there to make plugins for.

      All the elements you need for a plugin are the same as for a game except you do not need the opening screen. You will probably need to create NPCs, items, events, locations, and maps. To start, select "Create new game...." from the file menu. When you get to the step where you select "Plugin" as the type of game, you will have to locate the plugin data in the original game. Give you plugin a name and you are ready to start creating.

      Make an event which places the characters, stamps, items, etc. that you need in the map where you want the plugin to start. When your event is done, save it and find Plugin -> Loadcalls in the Project menu. Make a loadcall for the map you are altering which activates the event you just created. Now when the player enters that map, the changes you have made will appear in that map. That's basically all there is to it. Good luck with it.

    • ok now i have a question about the cold stone addon file is it possible to make a add on file for evnova with the demo coldstone or do i need hte whole verrsion also if it is possible to use the demo to make a add on file then can i have somethings that will help me out becaause i need to find out what i need to maek a add on file for ev nova and i was wondering if anyone has any information heads up or a list of ways to start the add on file off then e- mail me at.

    • EV Nova was not made with Coldstone so Coldstone cannot make an addon for EV Nova. Directions for making EV Nova addon files have been given several times on the EV Nova forum so I suggest you either search there or ask the question of those who know the program.

      Coldstone is designed to create new games or produce plugins for games made with Coldstone if the creator of the game enabled plugin development. It won't do anything for sombody else's game. Sorry 'bout that.
