Well, something I've made to get "easy" money is:
keep working in missions so it improves your ranking. after some time, when you are able to see missions level 4 and 5, keep improving your stats so whenever you contact them, ask for all the money and they will always give it. I don't remember "which" stat I had, but I kept asking and they never refused (the stat wasn't really high). after I asked like 10 companies, I had a lot of money, at least more than 50k, so that helped me getting a new server, some processors, software, etc. depending in how much money you could get.
Now, if your ranking is not very good, they will just say "no, you think im stupid?".

Hmmm and so far being a person who has been unable to make it past a bank hack or even get close (Not only did I not have the software, but even after I covered up my logs on another sever with vers. 3 log deleter they tracked me) And seriously dbouting my ability to get anywhere close to Uplink does anybody think they could tell me what prophitable files are on the uplink servers if not software?

However, just so's ya know, get a v.4 log deleter, as soon as possible.. and for banks, all you need is the connection analyser HUD, and some bypassers. Hmm.. well I guess it's possible to do just about anything with a bank with only a proxy disabler. Just not recommended.

Yeah I'm on my 3'rd account, the first was a stupid mistake and the second I guess I deleted my entery log at interinc and left a suspicious exit log.
Maybe It's just me but I'm really pissed off about how misleading it is in the help file where it says "passive traces can take hours", while a bank can trace you in a hell of a lot less. This could also have been the downfall of my damned 2'nd account.
My point is those banks are evil to crack and don't you need both a decripter and firewall bypass to hack them in addition to a proxy bipass?
