Minors may claim copyright, and the Copyright Office issues registrations to minors, but state laws may regulate the business dealings involving copyrights owned by minors. For information on relevant state laws, consult an attorney.
So, depending on the state the minor may or may not be able sell/give rights of the copyright to you; however, all minors can obtain AND register copyrights which they control (as long as they are legally competent), not their parents.

EDIT: In answer to Pilky's question, you are a minor until you turn 18, at which point you are an adult with all the rights and privileges (except for the right to drink).
