      Would I be able to copy articles from the coldstone chronicals board to add into the CRC magazine or do I have to ask permission first (all credit will be given to the authors).

      Common sense dictates you should always ask someone before you reproduce their work elsewhere. For one reason or another, somebody might not desire to have their work on another site.

      Yes, you should approach the authors of the chronicles for permission. Since it is their copyrighted work, after all, I'm sure they'd like control over where it goes and how it is used. I think in most cases permission would be given, but it's always good to check.
