    • Map problems

Okay, this is perhaps a silly question, but for some reason, when I draw my map and then launch the game, some of the map elements seem shifted. The stone path doesn't line up properly for instance. (That's in a layer.) Some of the bushes are moved. Some of the ground elements, even, are shifted in the wrong way, leaving jagged edges.

Anybody have any clues as to what I'm probably doing wrong?

      Thanks!

    • First off, the best way to fix that problem is to set your game colors to true colors.

Whose cruel idea was it to put an 'S' in lisp?

    • Thanks for the suggestion.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have helped. It looks like one of the layers has been shifted up and to the left a few squares. And the same seems to have happened with the access layer. And some of the edging squares (for making a nice clean path among the grass, for instance) seem to have disappeared in the game, but are still there when I open the map to edit.

      Any other ideas?

    • I had the same problem, so here's my answer, if I remember correctly. If you are using the coldstone graphics, than what you do is change the ground tiles dimensions to 96,96. Everything should fit correctly now. If you are using your own graphics, type in the dimensions of your ground tile dimensions. Ex: if your tiles are 24 X 24, then type in 24,24 in the ground tiles dimensions.

      I hope I helped.
