I've made a set of cartoony, bold tiles with which you can make yourself a (very green) landscape. The set includes grass, water and dirt paths... as well as the odd rock and hole. I'm planning on adding to this collection with more tiles for this set as well as other environments. Haven't downloaded it, but the screenshot looks nice. These would work very well indeed for a cartoon-style game, I think.

Did you just use Photoshop or GraphicConverter, or was some other software involved in the creative process?

These tiles actually have an extremely welcoming feel to them. They're very honest about their isometricity, at least.
Would be an excellent setting for a zelda or pokemon style game.

Thanks for the kind words. I've started work on some more environments and anti-aliased png stamps so areas can be customised further... Theyre really easy to make so it won't take long.

Just a Photoshop job, Glenn. Nothing too complex... paintbrush here, dodge tool there, that's all

I'll post again when I've finished several sets, so there's something to look at.

Actually, I dont know anything about "zelda" games:P But some trees and houses would be a nice addition
