Not sure exactly how involved the base package will be, as in, will it animate, but it's certainly cheaper than the $189 price for P4. The first beta seems to only render .pz3 (poser scene) files, but will evolve into a standalone product in the future. What this means to us: OS X support (P4 is OS9 only, and Curious Labs only mentions that a Mac P5 is being worked on), hardware accelaration (i don't think P5 even uses this...), and a cheaper overall product (hopefully). Seems that the existing Poser content will work with this app once it gets finished, and I hope so, as Daz's business is Poser content...
