    • What kind of games?

I understand that Coldstone is specifically for RPGs, and will not work for first person shoot'em ups. But what other kind of things can be done with this?
I downloaded a cute little concentration type game, made by the inventors of Coldstone.

Also anyone try any other types of games?

Also I know it is created for games, but can you do other things?

    • It could also do stuff like a zombie game (someone here is doing that) and a golf game. And even a space game (someone here is doing that as well).

    • Im no where near starting, but I've been having lots of ideas for a worms-style turn based multiplayer strategy game, I reckon that'd work quite well, although it'll probably take a lot of working out and my globals list would be in the bajillions... but hey, I'm going to give it a go once I've finished my "warmup project" ... which is taking forever (check out the link below)! Someone suggested coldstone minigolf a while ago, I reckon that's do-able as well. You just need to sit back and look at what Coldstone can do, then work out how that can be used for different effects... It's pretty versatile once you get to know it 🙂 you could, for example, have some kind of text adventure (ah...! zork, was it?) using the dialog/question and answer system, or a myst style game or a "point and click" game using static screens... oohhh...! more ideas! ::goes off to his blackboard and starts scribbling::

    • A little bit before, I thought up a kind of text game called ambrosia (no connection at all to Ambrosia Software, Inc.). I am making it using applescript, although I have Coldstone. I figured that I should get familiarized with programming language, conditionals, and all that other good stuff. Why? I thought that the experience could help me later on in Coldstone to (1) help keep my mind clear of technical junk and (2) keep focused. Later on, I'll continue on my Calvin and Hobbes game (oops! I shouldn't have said that...).
