    • Animation Conditionals

I am have created a looping animation. Is there any way to make it stop looping when a certain global is set?

    • I think so:

Make two items: Make your animation as an item. Then make another item a still picture of your animation

      Under General: Type = Special
Under Display: Idle/Action picture or animation: that would be your looping animation
Used picture or animation: Leave blank

Same thing with the second item. Except the picture would be the single picture of your animation.

In an event, use the global conditional to launch whichever item you want. Let's say that you have your animation going. If the conditional is true, then you'll need to delete the animation going item and launch the animation still item at the same coordinates.
