I'm just wondering: about how many total gameplay hours are there in Uplink? I'm playing an awful lot (so addictive! :)), but I don't want the game to end too soon. I'm just at the level now where I can take level 7 jobs (I just got my first hacker trace job).
I'd be interested to hear some feedback. No doubt I'll get a lot of different numbers.

I'm still playing one user that finished one of the storylines a long time ago. With addons, gameplay can go on for a very long time and stay fresh. It's really open-ended, so you can do whatever you want, really. You can try getting boatloads of cash, you can mess with everyone's social security of academic ratings. You can get every agent arrested. You can do "special" missions. You can hack LANs for fun. You can destroy every computer on the planet. The list goes on...

Um... I got the 1-week delayed email from the agent that committed "suicide," and the Uplink notice about not taking jobs from a certain company a little while ago.

Thats the very start of the storyline. There are a few details he included in his e-mail (username, password and server) which you may HINT want to HINT check out HINT.
