    • Indoor Builder

Hey all. I just uploaded a file on to the addons section of coldstone. It's called the Indoor Builder, and it contains PoG style Indoor pics, like wooden floors, stone floors, walls, doors, windows, etc. It's perfect for making medieval interiors! Be sure to check back frequently to the addons section and see when they post it up.

      Thanks!

(Sorry smodis, im sorry about the title but i saw yours too late)

    • YESSSS! YOU ARE A GOD!
Sorry, but I really have been trying to do indoor stuff and I JUST CAN'T DO IT!

Sorry for shouting, but really: THANKS A LOT.

P.S.: Don't worry, no hard feelings about my post!

    • Excellent. I'll look forward to viewing it once someone approves it and makes it available for download.

What's done? I downloaded the Indoor Builder Folder - - 3 times and the folder says 0 that's ZERO bytes. and all I find is an empty folder. Do you realize how impossible it is to build interior buildings with an empty folder?. Now then, I have done it with a deck of cards, but nobody was home at the time. The house was empty just like my download. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
Is somebody out there, one card short of a full deck? πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Sorry, I don't know how to make that hilarious smilie face. πŸ™‚ The one that looks like this. πŸ˜„

And I am responsible for 4 more of the dl count. I tried different browsers thinking it was something wrong I did. Each time I got an error message something like "Disk related error (-39) has prevented the operation from concluding." :frown: It does sound like a great file along with smodis' buildings.

Hrm. It seems that OgreBob's upload actually didn't work properly. It seems to have not uploaded at all, merely leaving the file name for me to release.... I apologise all for that, I had a five minute break between classes and was rushed.

I'll pull it offline now. OgreBob: Do you think you could try to upload it again? Thanks!

    • Sorry bout that guys, I'll upload it again (the reason could be that i stuffed it and .hqxed it at the same time, ill try it seperateley). But hey, I was actually kinda hoping because i added a bunch more stuff, like stone walls and marble floors. Hopefully I'll do it right this time. I hope it helps you out.

      Mr. OgreBob,

Despite what the uploads page says, just stuff the file and don't worry about binhexing it. .sit will compress the file for ease of downloading. .hqx isn't necessary, seems to goof some people up, and if you look in the addons section a good many files there are just in .sit format(including Coldstone and its update).

    • well, not to worry people, i just uploaded the file and I'm sure that it worked. It wasn't the .hqx after all, seems OSX wouldn't run dropstuff correctly, because it didnt detect a stuffit expander for OSX, but i just did it in OS9 and I'm positive it stuffed correctly, and im pretty sure it uploaded correctly, so you can post it up anytime, TarnΔ‡lion.

    • Thanks! I was also having trouble doing this, and it has helped a lot! Thank you!

If people would take the time to understand and know someone, to appreciate this person, wouldn't we live in a better world?
But if we did, then how would we learn anything? A world without hurt is a world without lessons.

    • I dunno not in any way to sound mean or anything, just that I had already done most of this, and I was hoping for some custom graphics. You really could work on the wood tiles too Use Adobe Texturemaker, it is really useful. Other than that, the idea's great. I was also hoping for stuff like beds, etc. Those really make a house a house, and they are exceedingly difficult to do in Photoshop. It is a great file, but it's consistency doesn't match PoG's.

      ------------------

    • yes, I admit that I am an amateur, however, i don't quite understand what you mean by "doesn't match." All of the graphics ARE from PoG. The marble floors are from trinity (the tower), the stone floors are made from the stone walls, the beams are directly from PoG only edited a slight amount. The wood does need work, although two of them are made from the wood of the wooden fences in PoG, so everything should be from PoG. Would you please give me a link to maybe download texture editor? This is hard stuff. I'm not trying to argue with you saying that it's professional, because I know that it's not, I just don't understand why you say "doesn't match" when all of the graphics are taken directly from PoG. In the meantime, I'll get more experience and maybe release an update with more graphics. (I'm working on a bed right now, too.)

(I meant no offense by any of this, I was just asking so that maybe I can improve someday)

    • No offence taken. If anybody, it should be I that is apoligizing for my criticism. I was just commenting on how the floor doesn't exactly look PoGish as all of the other stuff does. Nothing more. As best to my knowledge, Adobe Texturemaker is a pay product. Check out adobe.com
