Well, then... I am wondering about licensing for Coldstone Games. So, what one must do to sell a game aside from having it be original, mainly CGE related ambrosia licensing.
From the Coldstone readme file:

Games and plugins created by Coldstone may be distributed non-commercially at no cost; shareware distribution of games and plugins created by Coldstone are likewise free of charge.
Commercial distribution, (defined as requiring the customer to pay before they can obtain your game/plugin), whether online or retail, requires obtaining a license from Ambrosia Software, Inc. Commercial distribution licenses are available at reasonable rates, either flat-fee or royalty-based. Special rates are also available for educational institutions. Please contact help@AmbrosiaSW.com for details.
So basically if you are going to list your game as freeware or shareware you do not need to go through Ambrosia at all. You will need to give credit to Coldstone(either through a splash page or a credits/readme page) and Ambrosia, but thats it. If you are going to make your game a commercial distribution(ie, box it and sell it) then you must contact Ambrosia and purchase a license to do so. If you do not do this Ambrosia has the right to sue your butt off(and I hope they intend to go after people that violate their license as this is the only way they will be able to keep prices down for us).
If you have questions on their policies or the cost of a commercial distribution license it would be best to contact Ambrosia directly at help@ambrosiasw.com
