So everytime I try to start coldstone I get an error message like, can not find coldstone application.

Which version of Coldstone are you using? X or Classic? What OS are you running? Is it up-to-date, especially with CarbonLib? Do you still have the .sit file?
Sorry, you just haven't given enough info for me to go on.

What size is the .sit? I had some problems with the download not completing the full 19 or megabytes, but saying it was finished and stopping.
