It seems I now have to wait out a DR style download rush before I can try Coldstone out. I forgot to start the d/l last night, and all my attempts tonight are ending at about 1 MB and macgamefiles absolutely refuses to load.

Actually, the point of this topic is to ask if anyone else stuck in a similar situation, or if my ISP is attempting to earn a new, worse nickname.

i d/led it about 3 (mt. time) on wednesday, and i had to try 4 times b4 it actually d/led all the way. the first time it stopped at 15MB, 2nd time at 7, 3rd time at 1.8, and 4th time all the way. didnt make that much difference to me, since i have cable

I am getting ready to look up Ambrosia in the phone book and walk over during lunch! (I work in BEAUTIFUL downtown Rochester NY.) Maybe I can get it that way! Certainly would be faster! (Though MUCH colder.)

ViaHTTP is telling me that the server doesn't accept resuming, which is a bummer because I have all but a few megs downloaded. Is this the case, or is it just too busy?

Wow I must have got it like a few hours after it came out I downloaded it at at least 45k per second because thats what it said.
