yes, I've seen plenty of Director games/promotional interactives made along the lines you're talking about (and I've worked on a few as well). but I've still never seen an adventure or role playing game of any real size made for shockwave. as was put by Ernest Rutherford (or maybe it was one of his antagonists -- I can't remember which...); "The best proof that something cannot happen is that it never has."
of course, video games aren't exactly nuclear physics.
but anyway: we're in agreement that CS is a better tool for this purpose, so I'm not really sure why I'm arguing with you... oh well. such is life on these boards.
