Itching for info?

One nice thing about having the game already out on other platforms means there's lots of stuff to be found. If you want to know all sorts of juicy details, here's a good guide for the game: (url="http://"http://www.modlink.net/guides.php")http://www.modlink.net/guides.php(/url)

It has some good basic tips and information that should help you out in the more generic missions, as well as software and other Uplink stuff. There are definite spoilers too, so watch out. If you avoid the special mission info towards the end, you should be fine. There's plenty more reading to do though, if you're really itching for info. Enjoy!

I've actually read most of that guide and some of the fanficts on downlink before it went away. KeaponLaffin (sp?) had a huge, fairly good, one there.

Kinda weird, I always have to wait for ASW games so long, but this time I downloaded it and played it in VPC

Me included. But VPC 4 on an iMac DV/SE 400MHz isn't exactly what you'd consider a nice computer to do emulations on... So I quit when it go to the part in the tutorial where I could move the windows. The window would get stuck in the corner and from then on it was uber slow.

I read the guide/info but the game is bugging me becuase it takes to long to come out. And virtual pc keeps screwing up on my computer!
