I am planning to make an RPG that features non-human monsters as enemies (85% of the time). Will there be enough exotic monster graphics for me to use? I hope someone hasn't posted this before me. I tried to make sure...

There should be enough sprites for a lot of monsters, although if a lot of developers are relying on the library, then there's gonna be a lot of similar games.

I suppose there will be a library. . .alot of the gamers out there don't have Artistic talent. . .But of course. . .if you want to make a game that is to be remembered, you'll need to make your own sprites. . .

Well, I also have no tallent, but then I'm learning 3D modeling, and I own and am in the process of learning to use photoshop (A crooked professional printer's best friend lol) And I hope I can make some nice graphics with it.
This may be off topic, but just how are players and NPC's going to look when they move? Will it look realistic, legs moving and arms swaying while walking, or will it be just rotate-and-hover around like EV/O (EV was a great game, but EVO seemed like just a nice plugin, still, Matt did a good job) Or will it just be one still picture that moves from tile to tile (UGH!)
Andrew would probably say something like "The posibilities are endless, you can make it however you want." but then it's not as easy as he makes everything sound (Which is something he probably does because he doesn't know we don't all have his super powers or programmer skillz)

Let me just note that I meant no offence whatsoever to Andrew.
(No offence again, but seriously, very few people have used other editors to make great creations, one thing not noted is that we have our limitations.)
I'm sure Coldstone will be able to do more than I can do with it, but I'm certain there are people who can use coldstone to it's full potential, but I just hope there are MANY in depth tutorials for the people who know as little as me or less.
I'm sure it's easy enough to use as-is but it's not just a wave of the hand or a snap of the fingers. Most of the people I know learned first hand from me how to shut down a computer. Likely they'll be a good chunk of coldstone's users.

NOTE: not off topic, a self reply
I am one of the people who likes to make plugins for ares and ev. It's fun. For me, it's more fun than playing the game. (No offence to Matt or Nathan I'm just weird) Ev-Edit was simple enough, you click the pulldown menu for each attribute, or got a key of what each number ID meant when you had to use one (Like cloaking devices). And there were many refrences as to what a good range/lasting time/damage for each weapon would be (Like in the speed in frames 30 Frames=1 second)
But in hera (Which I can now use to make functional ares scenarios) you had to do many things for yourself, it wasn't as simple. You can do far more in hera than you could do in ev-edit though. You could alter things beyond the pre-set values, resize sprites to make them apear larger or smaller (Which ev-edit could not do, correct me if I'm wrong)
I couldn't make anything functional with hera (I had a few good laughs at my work though) untill did the tutorials, and understood what the many numbers mean. Now, I'm playing another crazy custom concept with my buddies every day.
Sure I got good at making ares scenarios with practice, but there are some people out there who just give up and think their lack of success is due to some error or bug, and those are known to be the people who complain the most.
Again, I just hope that there are plenty of tutorials, and a lot to learn from.
