Every where I go to try and Download ColdStone for mac it give me a broken link even on the official site! If someone could e-mail me the programm or give me a link that works I will be forever in your debet.

There is no link that works. Coldstone is not released, and there is no public beta. The web site you went to is not finished, and is not publically linked in anywhere.
I should have listened to my instincts and deleted the post that mentioned the unreleased site.

But I checked C-net and they had it and it said they had 4024 downloads for ColdStone so far. When ColdStone is released. Is it going to be free on the net or are we going to have to buy it at best buy or something like that? Is ColdStone almost done being developed and is going to be released sometime this year?

Simple, read the FAQ. for Coldstone.
and as I have read, dont hold your breath for it to be released this year.
Look for it, what I hope for is early next year. but theres no telling.
As for the price, with every thing Ambrosia makes, its shareware(other than ferazels wand)
and with all there finished products, there all for download or you can get there CD.

C-Net's old beta copy will be deleted shortly; it was an oversight, it should not be available there still.

I'm neither telling nor advising you (or anyone) what to do, BUT... Coldstone 8.1 was released in May, cannot produce playable games and is almost certainly not even a hint of the capabilities of the future. You would probably be doing a disservice to the recipient... You would certainly be in violation of previous license agreements.
