It won't be perfect! But at least one will not have to download anything. Currently, it looks quite nice, even without a black forest. I am pretty much done with this level, looks like another one-day-er. I think I will do L' Enfer Congele and Ketzerverbrennung and then release them to the public. Back to Midnight Run for me.

Oh, no! I am having difficulty setting up Ketzerbrennung! Not only is it looking poorly when I paste the map into MASCOT, but more importantly, I am having difficulty with sprites. Turns out there is not a guy on a cross in the Fire BG tiles! But I may be able to avoid this by having adding another level. So back to MASCOT for me!

Extemporaneous X
The extraordinary ten level set which will redefined Ferazeling! It will contain brand new graphics, levels, characters, oblique references, and extinct words! Extemporaneous X is expected to be released sometime between Halloween and Thanksgiving.

I am going to have to get a lot together for X, but I think it will be well worth it. Also, how will it contain new graphics? I will abide by my promise never to make the user download a Sprite file. So how are you going to do it? You'll just have to wait and see!

X will contain the following levels:

Hmm, well, Ketzerbrennung is more than 50% complete. So by monday I should be working on L' Enfer Congele. There are a whole lot of secrets in Ketzer. I realized that so many people were leaving the Gauntlet with virtually nothing. No potions, necklaces, nothing. Therefore I decided to give the player a lot more potions in this level, which proceeds the Gauntlet.

Let me restate: I am not dead and neither is Extemporaneous.
X is still targeted for November 2, 2001. I haven't been working on it for some time, more than two weeks. But my work load is decreasing so productivity on unproductive fronts can increase. I will still need Aschaaf's help, but if I get it, I'm golden. I will probably get some serious work done on Wednesday.

What's your favorite vehicle? (Press Option + Command at start to bring up cheat dialog, 147 for ATV, 163 for deer, 140 for motor bike, 145 School Bus, and 128-139 for standard cars.)
Personally, I prefer the ATV; it is maneuverable and more fun because the police can out run you. Plus you have a immense amount of power. More than the police.

Guess what I am off to play now.
