    • New(?) Boss Concept


      tell me what you think

      I'm not really sure if this is "new", but it certainly seems worth a go.

      The idea is that the whole level is a boss area, and the boss chases you around. When you kill it, the door is opened to the center area. This map causes lag problems (to the point of being unplayable) on my 500Mhz PowerPC iMac, so I haven't been able to beta test it much. Comments welcome!

    • Quite a fun map Flurrie, although I'm not sure the concept is new.

    • I'll hafta try this out once I get home. Don't think a Mac Pro would have speed problems... 🙂

    • Interesting concept, though you might wish to tell people what's going on.

      (oh, and I have no speed problem whatsoever on this already old MacBook)

    • @Silverwind: Yeah, the concept isn't new, but I just haven't seen it used much.
      @ZPedro: My hard drive is (very) full, to within 200 MB, so this may cause some of the lag on my computer. The script that I had to use for the boss is not really what I wanted, but the default (Guardian) didn't work very well on the map layout. This may account for some confusion. The "Race Goal" sprite is also acting kinda weird, but I don't know exactly why.
