Any plans for this to come to the XBox Live arcade? This game is PERFECT for it. I would love to be able to kick back on the couch and play this. Fantastic game!

The odds are incredibly unlikely. It would mean porting from Mac OS X to the Xbox's OS, and probably a whole bunch of other stuff that I don't know about.
Sory man.
That's too bad. There is a pretty big arcade audience out on Live, and these types of games sell like crazy. It would probably be worth the effort. But anyways, at least you know some of us out here exist who would love to plunk down some cash for this game on our consoles.

I, for one, would hate to see another fine Ambrosia game profaned by being ported to a M$ operating system.

Yeah, it would be like exporting it into a PC.

I'm afraid I can't give a proper reply to that. This board's rolleyes is just too small.
Anyway, if it's ported to any console, I'd most want to see it come to the Wii. But that's just because I plan to get one (when I can finally save up the money and they finally become generally available).
Still, as others said, the effort involved (for either) pretty much amounts to a complete rewrite of the game engine. SF uses OpenGL, and the 360 uses DirectX. SF is written in Cocoa Objective C (I think...could be wrong), and there is no support for that language and API on either platform.
So...yeah. Although I do agree that if Ambrosia wanted to break into the Live market, SketchFighter would be a good place to start, I'm just not convinced they're interested.

You are correct, sir. Although with libobjc, GnuStep and CFNetwork it might be possible to port to another platform.

Oh, and let's not forget the Carbon bits here and there...
