Edit: No solution yet, a not-so-good one in the 3rd reply. Also, Boss2, Boss Start2, and Boss Door 3/Boss Door 4 work. (?)

@pisketch, on Feb 20 2007, 02:10 PM, said in Editor question:
The volcano appears to have two bosses, but the SkullTank uses a miniboss, i believe. Solid type (Player) is solid to badguys but not the player.
Wrong on both counts. The Volcano is why Boss2 and Boss Doors 3 and 4 are valid sprites, because both the Crab King and the Skull Tank are full bosses. Also, despite what the Editor Guide says, Player-type sprites are merely deadly to enemies, not solid. In fact, the inverse is true with the right settings, as I've posted a couple of times recently.
On-topic, I haven't run into any answer, but I would be very interested if someone came up with one.

Ok, solution, but than again, not so good: Place up-side-down walls with the Extra2 of the boss. Make them invisible. They will drag you into the boss room and viola! Neither enemies or the player can get past! This only works for the 3rd ship, though. I hope this helps, at least a bit.
