I was checking old threads and realize you said "Mail me pertinent information"

Well I refuse to...I tried e-mailing someone from Ambrosia and was ignored numerous times. This is the only place I've gotten a response, and so this is the only place I will give you the information.

Here's what happened...

Yo! Was in my server
Someone crashed my server
Yo! e-mailed Ambrosia and blamed me
I was banned

Here's some key information...I didn't crash anyone, and was never asked if I did, or told why I was banned until I came here. The E-mail address I was left with did not respond to me and I was left in the dark. I ask for an apology and for my unbanning. If you're the person who can unban me, please do, if you're not, please direct me to who can. I already went through this with Taz! and found he was not able to.

I'm not in the mood for going through 10 people to reach 1, just please unban me and give me an apology.

Edgar, I read the stuff on this board - you are aware that it was Sphinx who got you banned? By crashing Yo! (whoever that is)? And remember, it IS only a game! 'doing anything you have to do to play' is quite a worrying mindset to have, imho.

Plus points to Taz! as well for handling things in a mature, grown-up way.

And andrew's on holiday? Where'd he go? I feel I need a holiday - too much coursework, grumble grumble. Might try and get away with the Katester at some point. Actually, he's out here in Hawaii. He ran the marathon yesterday (and yes- he did run most of it,) and today he's stopping by the museum I work at to get a tour.

He'll be enjoying the Aloha Spirit for a few days here, hopefully not worrying about anything to do with "business". He's deserved a break for a while.

I'd be willing to temporarily unban you, and see how things went, but it would require an attitude change on your part. Access to the Avara tracker is not an inherent right. I realize you are upset for being banned -- you must realize that we were told that you have been causing problems for quite some time; this was not a single incident.

So it is your word against others who have been complaining about you. Given how you've acted here, if you were falsely accused, you certainly have done yourself no favor by how you've acted.

Consider your position; take a deep breath. Are you willing to be a bit more demure about all of this?

Look, you can take your word against his, but Sphinx has already admitted to being the one who crashed him. Why you still believe it was me confuses the heck outta me, but it's about what I expect from an Ambrosia employee.

I've been more civilized about this...I'm not calling you an idiot or a moron anymore. I'm not spamming your board anymore. If you think for a minute I'm going to stop accusing you of doing a bad job, you're wrong. It's that simple.

Here's what I see your system as...

1. Someone sends in negative reports about another player
2. Reports go unchecked, assumed to be true
3. Person is banned, receives no notification or explanation

Can you explain to me why this is the system you feel is better than checking out reports or notifying someone when they're banned? If it's because you never thought about it, fine. If it's because you have this overwhelming trust in people, fine. If it's because you're just plain lazy, fine. I just want a reason why you'd choose this system because frankly, I'd never use anything like it.

Consider your position...your system is being revealed as moronic and as one that simply does not work. Rather than shut the exposer up by either unbanning him or booting him off the board, you choose to have him continually reaffirm the flaws in it to more, new people.

I've already made it clear I don't need the tracker back, I'm not going to be the one to budge.

Maybe you don't see it exactly my way, but keep in mind you're not in the same position as I am (I've dealt with a lot of their crap, I'm tired of it, when you try getting unbanned, you'll probably run into the same thing...thank me later)

And once they do ban me from here, I'm gonna go to Avara servers (Which I can still go to) and I WILL crash people, and they won't be able to do anything. I've got the computers and IPs necessary to do whatever I want to them.

I see. Thus far you have demonstrated that the claims about you crashing/harrassing other people in Avara have been do:

1. Harrass/insult myself, other Ambrosia employees, and anyone else who disagrees with you
2. Threaten to spam the web boards if you don't get your way
3. Threaten to crash other people who have nothing to do with this issue at all if you don't get your way

You know, I was once an idiotic jerk, and arrogant, and I was banned thrice, slapped with karma four or five times. I apologized, cooled off for a while and was able to get what I wanted by simply being polite. I now have a hard time believing you were ever polite to anyone about this.

Hahahaha...

I know I said I wouldn't reply anymore, but this just made me laugh my arss off Ed, "Yo <GZR>" is about the only server you could crash. The bug that you are exploting only effects any computer with a proccesor that is lower than any G3 comptuer. BTW, Ambrosia, if you guys can set it up so a level can only be loaded once per second, that would make it so no one oculd be crashed again. Not saying I think you guys will do it, but if oyu care to, that is what will fix it.

Spihnx (or whoever) found that when at a server with a slow computer, when a level is loaded repetedly, and very quickly, several times it makes the server's computer load it continuously. Thus, causing the comptuer to forever load the level, and forcing the server to either force quit, or reset there computer. Of course, all of this can be avoided by servers locking there servers so only they can load levels... It's horrible how people get so upset over a game enough to crash somone... I never though I would see such stupidity from somone over the age of 12; but then again, who is to say they are over 12?
