That's the word I have to describe Avara, which I've just downloaded and played. It's a cool game, though I'm not that good yet (some silly gun got me in Bob's fort.) Any tips for me, the newbie? 🙂

Don't quit is my first tip.

This shouldn't be hard if you're just starting out(especially with the lack of newbies around these days) but make sure you play people that are better than you. And watch their strategies. Learn something from every game.

For somestrategies got to Avara.org and poke around, theres some stuff there.

When closing in to nade someone(assuming you know to put a fire weapon and load nade action on the same key, because this will be your main weapon) don't run straight at them. Come in at an angle.

Missiles are still very effective, especially if you're playing someone with a heavier hull where you can just run away and missile them to hell. I don't reccommend it as an honorable practice if you are both the same hull though.

Oh yeah, superjumping is very effective. If you don't know how to do this: line up several jump keys in a row, then, while walking, press them all down, and release them all. It works sorta like that so you'll get the hand of it in no time.

Ok, well I'm tired of typing, just go out there, practice your aim and learn some strategies and you'll get better.
