This is the story of a star pilot named Edward Zeth, his past and present.
Chapter 1
Chronometer: 8:00 am.
Place: Levo
Edward Zeth woke up slowly and glanced at his chronometer. He had woken up late, as usual. After showering and dressing, he left his cabin to the bridge of his Corvette, the "Blade". The Blade was orbiting the planet of Levo, ready to leave at his command. The Blade, captained by a fearless leader who was marked as a criminal or worse in almost every non-Rebel ship and had a Deadly combat rating, would soon leave on his mission.
Edward had once been a cargo runner, when he was 22, ages ago it seemed, although Edward was only in his mid-thirties. Yet, that short amount of time, he had seen many things. As a pilot he had avoided pirates and Rebel warships as he jumped around Confederate space, running missions and slowly building up money to upgrade from a Shuttlecraft, to a Courier, and finally a Corvette.
When he began running missions in his Corvette, Edward first did some missions for the Confederacy, transporting documents. But after witnessing grave injustices and being shot at for transporting a criminal he thought was a civilian, he had sided with the Rebellion and begun pirating and shooting down Confederate ships. In this Corvette, he had taken down countless patrolships, Frigates, and pirate ships.
Now he had 3.6 million credits from pirating, and had a deadly rating. He instructed his crew to set course for the system of Capella, and launched out of the Levo system.
Warning alarms clanged as the ship entered Cappellan space, where he was a public enemy, after looting and destroying many Frigates, Argosies, and Luxury ships. He ordered a connection made to Capella, and Demanded Tribute. Waves of patrolships streaked out of Capella to intercept the Blade. Zeth lead his men through a thick battle and soon he was notified that Capella agreed to pay Tribute. Triumphantly he landed and took his first payment of 2,000 credits a day......
