Blake walked into Admiral McPhearon's office. "Admiral, I have news for you. I was in Voinian Space and one of their own vessels destroyed their research station. It blew up the station and released a chemical that destroyed my ship. I got rescued by that Tyler guy, the one who murdered his crewman. He fell into my ship as the docking bay closed. My ship blew up with him in it."
"I've heard," he said. "He will be relived of duty and punished..."
Out on Borb Station A Voinian Commander was watching the entire meeting through a camera one of their spies had placed there. "So the UE have a traitor on their hands. We must convince that Tyler person to join us. When he's proved loyal, he will pilot our finest ship with the new cloaking device, the NightFalcon. You Gerd or whatever your name is."
"My name is Jarn" Jarn said.
"Whatever," Commander Syris spat. "I want an escort of 5 Frigates to get Tyler to us..."
Back in McPhearson's office he was just about to leave to Tyler's trial, Blake had already gone, he noticed a faint red light blinking. He looked a little closer and recognized it as a Voinian camera. "Oh shoot! " He yelled as he took out his blaster and fired, destroying the camera. "Oh damnit!" he shouted as he ran out.
At the court in Verril Prime, Tyler stood trial. "Commander Tyler, your are held charged with these crimes. Murder and Betrayal. You will be punished greatly if found guilty. How do you plead?" The judge inquired.
"I plead innocent!" Tyler shouted.
"HA! Scum, don't make me laugh. Has the jury reached a verdict?"
A juror stood up. "We the jury cast our verdict. Guilty."
The observers applauded, including Admiral Blake.
"Tyler, you will work for 3 years in the Ariane mines. After that you will be sent to Luna Prison for life." The judge said with a smirk.
The observers cheered and clapped as Tyler was escorted by 10 UE guards to his shuttle.
As the crowd parted McPhearson ran in. "Where's Tyler?" he asked and yelled.
"He was just taken to his shuttle." A person leaving told him.
"Damnit, which way?"
"Over there" the person pointed to the door as McPhearson ran to it.
As Tyler walked into the shuttle and the shuttles guards stepped in and it took off, the Admiral burst into the room. "Watch out for Voinians!" He tried to shout, but was drowned out by the engines.
Tyler's shuttle was the only ship in the system. As they flew to the hyperspace point. The guards didn't know, but as the 10 of them sat in front and he sat in the back, he had a Blaze Pistol with him. A Rocket nailed the shuttle in the side as the 5 Frigates jumped in immediately disabling the shuttle.
"Voinians" Tyler thought, "Perfect, they'll take me away!"
As the screeching of the docking clamps the guards got ready. A Voinian soldier jumped down and hit one of the guards. Another 3 jumped in and fired as the first untied Tyler. The 3 soldiers were shot down, but not without taking out 2 other guards. Tyler rolled out of the way and aimed at the guards. He shot one down and than jumped into the Voinian Frigate leaving the 5 guards left to try and drag him back in. No dice. The docking bay closed leaving the 5 guards and the Frigate took off. The Shuttle's new pilots tried to jump into hyperspace the Voinian Frigates destroyed the shuttle. The Frigates took off just as McPhearson tried to come to the aid along with Blake. it was too late though. Tyler had escaped.
