    • TOURNAMENT, sunday 8th (!!)

      7 20 1964

sorry about the wrong date - and thanks helix.

the question of the time is still open, should it be 7pm gmt or 8 pm gmt?
we already know that mikrisa would go for 8, and shoes for 7, helix for 8...what would you all prefer?

      we´ll (of course) use hykos tourney-site - (url="http://"http://pop-pop.webhop.net")http://pop-pop.webhop.net(/url)
if there is anybody playing who hasn´t played a tourney before: go there to register and sign in for the tournament and during the first round of the tournament report your results there.
the rules can be checked on cronos site: (url="http://"http://homepage.mac.com/rchristie/various/pop_pop/")http://homepage.mac....arious/pop_pop/(/url)

since hyko offered to "co-host", i guess i´ll just stop whining now... 🙂

    • What about yourself Lumisa? What time would you prefer to have the tournament?

Most of us I'd guess don't exactly have any tome free during the week if you consider commute times on either side of that plus possibly eating. It also adds up to make weekends precious - a time to catch up with friends rather than waste at the flickering (or not in my case, being an LCD) silver screen.

does that mean that there is no chance that you´ll be playing?

the "blindfisch-cup" is now open on hykos site. sign in here: (url="http://"http://pop-pop.webhop.net")http://pop-pop.webhop.net(/url)

I've just found out I'm not required in London after all this weekend, so I might be able to do 7/8pm, with 8pm being more likely. 🙂

I couldn't say for sure either way though, as really have too much stuff on at the moment. I'll try and make it. Well done for hosting though, lumisa! I'll be able to start hosting again (if people want me too) from (hopefully) June 15th. However, I'm sure you'll be a natural by then 😛

      ------------------

    • Blindfisch-Cup? Not a very international name 😉

I could make both times, I think, but I would prefer 8 pm (GMT).
I have the choice because no school on Monday, it's "Pfingsten" (is there an english equivalent?).

      ------------------

    • I won't be able to be there until 9:00 or 10:00 GMT, so I suppose I won't be participating. :frown: But I'll be there at the end cheering on the final round participants!

start spreading the news: the tournament is going to start at 8 pm gmt. 🙂

    • Ok, it's about 9 hours until the tournament kicks off. Does anyone want to get on the tracker sometime before that and get some practice in? I'll be probably there.....there are just not enough people on the tracker to get some proper practice in.....

      CU on the tracker

      10 good players so far...

Wow, this tourney is going to be good. 🆒

But, seeing as we have this many people, I hope there won't be 2 players sharing one computer again, or it could take far too long.

    • You've got Hyko co-hosting....you should be fine
11 players? well...the 11th player was probably all my fault! 🙂

      ------------------

    • to avoid confusion about the second round:
the 4 best players will advance to the second round. first will play forth and second will play third.
the winners of these will play in the final for first and second place.
the losers of the second round will play for third and forth place.

(of course, like always place {} around your name...)

i´m very much looking forward to being "shoed"... see you there. 🙂
