    • my question is, how can an entire online gaming community die in less time than a linear single player game?

    • Hmmm... possibly because the game was based on one of the first games ever coded- Breakout. Just a thought...

PS: Breakout just doesn't cut it for me anymore. I don't know if thats just me though. 😄

    • Pop-pop is not boring, (personal opinion)
but when I go on to play there's maybe two or three people on-line ( although sometimes there are as many as five or six, )

I try to play as much as I can, but I've got school, and then after school I have friends and family. So sometimes I don't "get to" pop-pop.

Then there's time zones too, so when you can play, other people are in school, and when they get home your in bed...

shrugs I donno, pop-pop's a great game, and there are lots of people who like it, there has to be...

    • Pop-Pop was too slow. The games took aeons due ot the regeritive nature of the bricks in the playing feild. I put it away after noting that half an hour was far to long for one game of any action game to last. If it had been faster paced, I think it would have really soared. Maybe they'll make a version 2 along those lines, I might buy it.

Uh, you must have never set the difficulty on anything higher than "newbie". 😛

But it on the next to last or last difficulty level (can't remember the names, it's been too long) and the game will be significantly faster.

As for my reasoning: pop-pop is just too addictive, dammit. When I've got tons of things I need to do (either work on my sites, or play bass, or just enjoying life in general), I don't like to be tied down to a game of pop-pop that has a habit of lasting about half an hour (not including rematches, which are always fun).

Talk about being careful what you wish for... 😉

    • I'd play pop-pop, but I don't have the money to buy it right now or time to spare. This is the first weekend in a while I've had free. Japanese 1, Math 2, Band and everything else... damnit, 9th grade sucks.
