    • I am Mourning the Loss of My Hard Drive

      My Hard Drive decided to perish on October 12, 2001. I am still in mourning, but life must go on.

      My old 7GB hard drive will always be in my mind. Why did it have to leave at an age of only 1 year? (exactly)

      •sniff• I greet my brand new, beefer hard drive, 3 GB bigger. It can't wait to soon contain Ferazel's Wand, MASCOT, and many, many world files.

      Luckily, I have the latest copy of Orthographic Universe on the internet. I lost over a week to work on it, so I won't meet my OCt. 26 deadline :frown:

      Really? Mine's only 6GB and I got mine on feb. 20th, 1999.

      I know. Dr. Tall land all over again....as well as Baldur's Gate, and I have to install all my sims objects again.

      The computer crashed in the sims, and refused to boot up. Norton Utilities and Disk First Aid didn't find a disk. Also, the drive was making some funny noises earlier. That's a sign that means your drive is a goner.

      When ever my computer crashes, I just get a paper clip, stick it in this hole by the side of the computer, and it restarts.
