Actually, if you built it right, you could publish EV4 for Quadras.
Also, the first copy of a hypothetical EV4 for Linux wouldn't be in *.deb format. It would be in *.rpm, or, more likely, *.tar.gz with an installer script. Packaging is secondary. I run Aleph One on Debian, and it most certainly wasn't wrapped up in one of those nice, neat little Debian package files.
