Background of Plug-in: It all takes place from the first discovery of the Vell-os planet. When the feds went to war with the Vell-os and destroyed them (capturing some) and leaving thier planet uninhabited, the Vell-os passed away to a place they called "Beyond the Veil". The gas-Ion planet Veil is haunted with ghosts of Vell-os warriors who happen to be barely in touch with the vell-os people. Keeping this a secret this is all the imprisoned Vell-os people have. But when the feds get a hold of this planet they call a war against them in hopes to capture these ghost warriors with Vell-os technology. Thousands of years later, you being a trader fall into this string of lies and deciet, when you land on this haunted planet to trade some opals to a barren trade center not knowing exactily where you are. Just to find out an outrageous series of events that unfold a story of a lifetime.....The Veil!

Hello,
First, you will get a better response if you explain more about your plugin. Is there a previous topic about your plugin? If so, link us to it, so we can learn more about it. Or if you have a website for the plugin, link to that. If this is the first time you've mentioned the plugin, why don't you give us some info, backstory, main ideas, etc? Hopefully, you have more than just a name and a general idea, otherwise, people will probably not want to help you. You may want to write out the basics of the story and what you want to happen in the plugin, figure out how the plugin will mesh with the existing Nova universe (or not), and then come and ask people to help, as people are more willing to spend time working on polishing a plugin near completion than working on a plugin from scrap.
Second, for future reference, the EV Developers Corner is the better place for this kind of topic. Don't worry about it though, a mod will just come by and move the topic. Just be aware you might get more replies of "this is in the wrong place," than offers of help.

Is the plug going to us any of the information in the Speculation string. Also everybody agreed that the plug-in idea would stay between the speculation people, untill it is fully designed.

Also, you stole every one's idea's in the speculation thread, claimed them as your own and making a horrible plug-in out of them. For exable, the new race that looks excaltly like the vell-os and have a very simualer name. Don't you think that they would be more advance then that, technology wise.

Yes I was also going to suggest, instead of making the same ships with different colors make some new designs. Completely new bigger ships that would represent the superiority(not sure about spelling)Of the new race. After all they were able to travel beyond the veil. Maybe like a supership that could destroy entire defense fleets without having to land to regenerate. But to have the same ship just a differnt color would kind of be a rip-off.

All I can say is, be sure no one else is already on the stick. I'm trying to get people together already, and with a more equal distribution of ideas. The only idea I've broadcasted to date is my own, and I've given a link for an interested dev to investigate further.

And not particularly exciting for people playing. I find that being allowed (a) new ship(s) is usually the thing that keeps me interested in a string.

A brand new plug has just come out. Its the Arpia plug it adds one new government with 5 new ships i think that are super strong.

Don't worry UFS, Darth Eddy's just a bit steamed (I talked to him), so go ahead and do your plug; Darth Eddy is all ready working on other plugs, one we're collaborating on.
Also If you need help on programming and story stuff, I'll be glad to help.

I'm using a slittly different idea, also to get rid of the blue glow, use Photoshop and adujst to hue and saturation.
