i think that a plugin thaty alowed you to have raven's as escorts and improve the chances of getting the scarab would be great.

Then make it yourself, it's not that hard. If your on a mac get Mission Computer, and if your on a PC get EVNEW, both of which can be gotten on the add-ons page, I believe.

Knowing Zaku, I'd be surprised if he actually decided to try and make it on his own...

Nice.... But the changes you suggested (making ravens available as escorts and making scarabs easier to get) can't be done with a graphics program. You just need a program that changes how objects behave in the game; in other words, something like Missioncomputer.

I'd also advise the Nova bible, as mission computer dosn't cover everything. Besides, if you just open the thing up with resedit it shouldn't be to hard to modify. You just have to a little cognative ability. (I apologise to all those who flinched because of my spelling errors. Keep in mind I'm not Zaku however.)
Oh, and Zaku. The Mobile Suite who's name your using is part of the evil corporation. Can't remember what they're called now. Theirs also the Zaku II and the Red Zaku. The Zaku is from the origional 'Mobile Suite Gundam' I believe.
Personaly, I think I would've chosen Wing Zero. Or Deathsythe, or Heavyarms. All very cool Gundams. I wish somebody had done those gundams instead of Zaku...

Yeah, they were the first mobile suits, created by the seperatist Principality of Zeon against the Earth Federation.
The Mobile Suits in use at the beginning of the Anime were the Zaku IIs, and the red one was just a special paintjob for Char.
Good stuff.

No need for those sort of remarks, guys. I remember when I was doing my Gundam plug... I should probably get back to work on it sometime.
Zaku, I believe you already can have Ravens as escorts. As the other users have mentioned, improving the chances of capturing a ship is fairly simple. Just open the correct "Nova Ships" file in ResEdit, MC, EVONE, EVNEW, etc, and copy the Scarab and Raven resources into a new plugin file. Next, open up the Scarab/Raven resource from the new plugin, and reduce the ship's "crew" to a lower number, and then the ships "strength". Those two values are used in calculating the odds of capturing a ship, if you lowered them, it would make it easier to capture them.
Best luck!
