Well, in case you didn't catch this from my post earlier today, I'm in the mood for modding EVN, and I'm looking for a team to help me do it. I can do all the graphics, and even help code (minimally), but what I need is someone creative who can write a storyline for a universe I create. Just so you know what I can do, here is a quick sample of work I did today:

Now here's the downside: I have Windows XP and have no chance of getting my hands on a mac anytime soon. A person with a mac could help with storyline or graphics, but for coding I need a PC accomplice who knows what they're doing (or a mac accompice who can convert files for me ).

Whether we make a TC, or just a quick little add-on is up in the air. If you want a copy of the plug that includes these things, e-mail me (windows format, Rle8's not included).
I'd appreciate any responses here, or by email, please make sure you mention what experience you've had.

For once we have a serious guy looking for a reasonable help, I have to say I can't (too busy...). That said, I can help with the issue of PC-Mac developer interaction. First off, you at least need a Mac guy to convert the plug in mac format, using (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/show.pl?product=evn&category;=utilities&display;=date&file;=MacPluginConvertor101.sit")David Athur's(/url) or (url="http://"http://www.ariossoftware.com/products/freeware.php#3")Arios Software's(/url) rez to Mac converters, so that it can be put in the true cross-platform sceme .bin.zip. There is no way it can be created on a PC, alas. It's obviously much better if the Mac guy is working with you on the plug. Ask him to send you back his work .bin encoded (using programs found in (url="http://"http://www.evula.org/infernostudios/downloads/binandzip.sit")Space Pirate's binandzip(/url)). You should then be able to run it through the converter and check what he did using EVNEW. The guy can be coding (well, actually, it's more like entering number in fields...) on a Mac, if you are well-organised it won't be a problem. If you team only with PC guys, none of that is relevant, but you'll need a Mac tester (I sure hope it will be beta tested...) to convert in .bin for distribution.

I'm good with ideas, and story and universe outlining. Yet as far as writing each individual mission, I lack the time to write, as i've also got my own TC to work on as well.

I might be able to proof read your mission bits or do a storyline or somethin (I watch loads of Star Trek, so I've got loads of good ideas!).

I would be interseted in helping with the story and writing, as I have little or no programing experience, and no graphics skills. I do however enjoy writing, and I need things to do this summer.
