See that thing next to the m key? And the thing just next? These are the comma and dot. Use them.
For your question, you basically have to take 36 or 64 images of your ship rotating (36 usually, 64 for bigger ships, traditionally). You then arrange them in Photoshop like that:

for 36 rotating frames (note that the first one is the one that points up, and then rotating clockwise).
Then you import the big image in the plug editor. If EVNEW, it should then do the job. If NovaTools, you have to make a shän (see how shän are done in the Nova ships files), then convert to rleD. It should then be usable.
