Quick question: I tried to replace the standard Nova title screen with a variation of the above, but adding it as a pict resource to the plug with ID 131, which is the same ID as the Nova title screen. However, it wasn't replaced. Is there something else I need to do? A titl resource or something? I looked through the bible, but its long. Needs an index.

The colr resource looks promising, but I don't see a field for a pict ID for the startup screen.

EDIT: OK, I modified the image to be 832x624 pixels. It still doesn't replace the standard splash screen, though. Running a search, I came across reference to a clut resource----does that apply to Nova, or only the earlier 8-bit games?

I had never heard about the show before I read your thread, and I cannot model graphics. As well, I am working on a plug-in myself (although I do have plenty of free time). With that said, I would be willing to help with any proof-reading, textual implementation, or writing that you would desire. Your plug does look promising- I hope it doesn't go vaporware (like so many other plugs in the past- Burning Season for EVO comes to mind :mad:.)

Just in case anyone is wondering, my Firefly TC has not gone vaporware.

However, I haven't had a lot of time to work on it lately, so it is stalled for the moment. I hope to be able to finish up the universe when I've got some free time soon. The galaxy is fairly small by TC standards (something like 120 stellar objects so far), but its nearly complete for my needs. I need, maybe, another 10-15 stellar objects.

Well, if it is a small task like just the main screen for Lindley's TC, than a large task, then get the small task out of the way.

I wasn't sure if you were still doing that. If its causing you any headaches, don't worry about it; I'm sure I can come up with an interim menu of simpler design.
