Hello, it's been a while since I was around here, been moving/working alot, but I've gotten back in the past few months to working on my plug-in for Nova. It's kind of a largish one, adding quite a few systems and governments, etc, that are unrelated to the existing stock ones for the most part- like an entirely new section of the galaxy to work with. I've got the systems, descriptions and all of that done, the missions are about halfway through and the përs' and other individual types are in development.

I'm wondering if anyone has the time to design a few ships and about three or four outfit pictures? I have some ideas and tried my hand at 3d modeling but my results reminded me of an overambitious EV ship, nothing of Nova quality. I would like something along the lines of a cruiser/carrier class, a fighter, a something-along-the-lines-of-a-Starbridge-or-Valkyre class (a medium largish ship?) and a versitle shuttle; as well as a picture for a deed to a plot of land and some other things like that. Any help or points in the right direction (I could not find any shipyards out there that had any Nova ships) would be greatly appreciated- I would perfer to not release a plug that is comprised of original work where the original effort is flying around in coloured Polaris ships!

If your expecting alot of answers in the positive you'd be way off in your calculations. I learned very quickly that there are few people willing to make graphics, even less so for Nova where spins include banks, flares, and other effects. The best help I'm willing and able to offer is (url="http://"http://www.pacifier.com/~kkey/shipyard/index.html")Onyx's Shipyard(/url). Many of those ships are Nova quality, although lacking in engine flares and banks. Flares could maybe be added in photoshop.

I think the way rmx asked was good. He's not demanding that someone make a ton of graphics for him, and he's very polite. If I wasn't already involved in another project, I would help him. It looks like he only needs about 4 ships and three or four outfits.

Didn't Cpt. Skyblade's old shipyard get taken up somewhere else? That was a good one.

Now, after having yelled at Zaku, I must also say that his way of asking is extreamly polite. I bet if he offers to take the numbered output picts (or whatever) from his graphical artist, he could get somebody easier.

Thank you Capt. Phillips, actually many of those are eye-catching and I will likely use them (adding the engine flares though I think, I can probably manage that! And giving proper credit of course.).

I think that I actually found a source for some other things though. The plug is rather Egyptian themed (not a thing to do with Stargate at all) and it came to me at work to scan some things from some of my books, would probably be sufficient.
