How big are the outfit pic's and shipyard pic's in Nova? I'm thinking about setting up a shipyard and outfitter of my own and I wan't to Include some weapons and maybe ships for Nova. I already have everything for one weapon, as long as whats-his-name doesn't mind if I use Zaku's pink mblaster sprite for it. two other weapons and a ship have been started but not finnished.

I would have figgered out the size myself but I don't have EVN anymore :frown:.

No problem, you can use my pink blaster sprite (assuming you used it); especially since I'm not entirely sure it's pink and it only took all of 30 seconds to make.

What you see when you click on the outfit or ship is 200x200. When you get detailed info on a ship, thats a 600x400.
The tiny picture is generated by nova from the 200x200 (and on windows, this is done VERY poorly, because Contraband didnt port Matt's smoothing code, or ported it wrong.

thanx, I was confused, I knew that the tiny picture was drawn out from the bigger one. I meant the pict that shows when you click on an outfit, not the tiny picture in the list. Stupid me.

I'm off to render my guns at 200x200.

I finnished the fan gun. It is in ResEdit format and comes with the pink mblaster shot in bothe Rle and pict spin format. There is a turret and a single cannon, each has an outfit pict in Nova size and EV/O size. It looks so cool.

I wonder if EVula will be willing to host my stuff in his shipyard section. ???

I think Strata should be able to handle Strata Vision files, but if not, I'll let you know and you could try sending the dfx files and textures (dfx doesnt handle textures).

Just a note, I dont know how to do rle things (never dont it ) so I'd just supply you with bare rendered out sprites. All you would have to do is rle them yourself
