I'm working on a small plug* at the moment, and I've noticed that Radar missiles do more Mass and Energy damage than their IR counterparts. Is there a reason for this, since in-game they seem to be billed as the two roughly-as-useful midrange missiles? It almost seems unfair for Radars to be more effective, since they also have a disable-only variant (an Auroran outfit, I suppose).
- Basically, my little 'MissileRacks' plugin modifies the way missiles and rockets are fired. I never liked the constant-stream effect they have in stock EVN, so I'm using the Burst Count and Burst Reload fields to simulate finite racks that you can fire off quickly, but then have to wait until they're reloaded before you can fire another volley.
