Is their any experienced EV NEW user out there who knows why my plugin isnt working?

I've started using EVNEW but I haven't pumped out a plug yet, if I do before anyone else replies, I'll tell you if it works or not.

How could any of us know why your plugin isnt working? Thats like posting to an automotive webboard and saying "Are there any experienced mechanics out there who know why my car isnt working?".

As far as I know, as a heavy user of EVNEW, there are no problems with the plugins it produces.

Its a plugin my friend wanted me to make and its a bit mad. It modifies a raven rocket into a super missile, called a BIK that disables everything in the system. I have got it to work once but when I bought a new ship they it back to normal.

It's entirely possible that it has zippo to do with your plug-in, and everything to do with the scenario. It's possible ATMOS made multiple Raven Rocket resources for reasons unknown.

Care to correct me/say I'm correct, Dave?

It seems the problem lies more in making the plug right than the way to use EVNEW itself. So I'll treat him like a normal newb plug designer:
Lusos_Raven, how exactly did you do it? Is the wëäp (damn, not on my Mac so I don't know which letter is ¨'ed) ID of your modified weapon the same as the original, or not? Did you modify the öütf of the raven rocket accordingly, or not? Are you modifying the data files (I recommand against it!!!) or are you making a separate plug?

I think your mod stops working when you buy a ship because the shïp ressource specifies the wëäp ressources it has on buy, so if you set your weapon to be a different ID of the weapon you want to replace and you change the öütf so that it specifies the new wëäp's ID (or you do a new one), you will indeed buy your new weapon at the outfitter but a ship you buy will still have the old weapon. If you really want to replace one thing of the original scenario then give it the same ressource ID as the original, it will override it (but the old weapon will be back should you remove the plug).
