    • Why are my plasma bolts showing up different?

I wanted to keep my Turbulence Abomination with Plasma Cannons/Turrets... (from "Galvenic Pirates"), so I copy/pasted the relevant resources from the plug into a new plug (without the missions...). Here's the problem: When I take out the "Galvenic Pirates" plug and put in the plug I created (pic 1), my plasma bolts turn out all wrong and the side panel reverts to normal. With the "GP" plug in/my plug out (pic 2)...no problem. Also is included a shot from the "GP" plugin itself (pic 3). Here's my screenshots:

      What am I doin' wrong?

    • Hmmm. The pics are all linked wrong except the first, but i was able to figure out the second. It looks like you didnt transfer the RLE and spin for the plasma bolts correctly. Check in the spin to make sure it points to the rleD's ID for sprite ID and the rled id+1 for the mask ID. I did a similar thing to a spin, and it picked a seemingly random graphic to use .

Oh, how'd you make EVN run in a window? That would be kinda handy...

    • To make it run in a window, go to the preferences area. There is a checkbox that will tell it to "Run in window." As for the pics, I have no idea what got 'em screwed up. I'm a Yahoo!er, and put them in the briefcase. Apparently Yahoo! doesn't allow linking (or whatever). If I can e-mail them to you, do you think you could put them up (or at least see better what I'm trying to do? I thought I c/p'ed all the relevant resources from the plugin to the new plugin. I checked, but I'll check again.

    • ALL of the pictures are linked wrong, so I can't really help you for now.

    • The second one doesnt work at all. The problem with the third one is that you left an IMG tag in, but removing that made the link work.
If you are going to email stuff to me, just email me the plugin instead of the image (it shouldnt be a hard problem for me to fix) Zip the .rez before you send it. I see what's happening, I just am not sure what is likely causing it. Azratax@aznt.com
By the way, you have tested it with no other plugins installed, right? I know you have a habit of stuffing every plugin under the sun into your plugins folder.... Check this first.

    • I rechecked every resource (and even made a new plugin...no luck) and found that it matched with the "GP" plug. I found out that each time I play the game (to test the weapons), they look different each time. They either look like blaster bolts, railgun shots, or ion cannon shots. And they're all spinning (like the Turreted Querla Cannon shots) 'round and 'round. I'll zip 'em up and zip 'em to ya!
